Our Olympic stars should be around for all home games! ... Yeah!

The club was clear in the press release that they expect them to miss a match or two or three along the way.

HOPEfully all missed matches will be ones where the Sounders are on the road! I would feel SOLO if there were any home matches missed!
The Olympic schedule has no conflicts with the 2012 Sounders WLeague regular season home schedule.
The last home game is 19+ days before the 1st Olympic Group stage game.
Any conflicts/missed matches, would come from future Olympic Warm-up matches?
As of now only 2 warm-up games are scheduled. April 1, 2012 vs Japan April 3, 2012 vs Brazil

Based on tweets from Mayers, Solo and Leroux will only be there for three or four home games. Sounds like they are going to call the ladies into camp in mid-June. Kinda makes sense when you consider that most don't have a team to play for anymore.

And yet, I am not all that impressed.

While I can undertand why the Sounders Women would jump at the chance to put themselves in the news for a few days, I was more impressed this week by our state’s other high-level women’s sides, Issaquah SC and the Spokane Shine of the WPSL. Both continue to announce player signings of the ‘soccer’ sort.

Well, the Sounders Women should rock for the 6ish games they play.

I just love that "Sounders Women general thread" started as "Hope Solo naked in ESPN mag".
I was going to buy tickets for a game, but any idea when the big three leave for USWNT service? Not really looking to spend $18 a ticket to watch the rest of the squad.

Ha I bought some tickets to one of the games in hopes that they play. If they don't then I guess I just donated a little to the support fund!
