What??? That would be a dream come true for me! He's my favorite player. I would be over the moon if this happened.
I don't buy it for a minute, though. All indications are that if anywhere in MLS he'll be going to New York because he loves that city and it's a big market with a lot more endorsement opportunities for him.
That being said, I have heard Ronaldinho is on his way out in Barcelona, so maybe Henry will be willing to leave if they're going to rebuild the team there and go in a different direction. It certainly hasn't been a great fit for his style of play there.
Edit 1: Here's an interview by SI last November where he says he wants to finish his career here (page 3 of the article, but I'll post the quote below). However, in the interview he also says he's a big NBA fan and was going to come during his offseason to watch some games. If the Sonics leave town, that may lessen his interest, if any, in Seattle.
The quote: "SI.com: You recently said you wouldn't mind playing in America some day. Why?
Henry: I just love America, everything about it. The way you think, the sports -- basketball, American football -- there's always some sports to watch, something to do. Since I was young, I've always had it in the back of my mind that I wanted live there. Some players want to finish their careers in Australia, the Middle East or back at the club where they started. For me, it's America. I don't know when it's going to happen, I just know I've been wanting to do this since I was young."
Edit 2: An additional thought - perhaps the Joe Roth/Hollywood connection is something that could influence Henry's decision?

I recorded the clip from World Soccer Daily (March 26th show) where Steven Cohen talked about the Thierry Henry to Seattle rumor. Follow the link to listen to it directly (you can also download it from there):

damn
we could use a beckham type (one the dosent suck, of course)
and actually, the more i think about it, its not so far fetched. paul allen obviously has deep pockets. drew carey is a huge barca fan, so he may have some room to work with there
the logical choices would be the gals and rbny, who both have their dp slots filled. the only other place that would have the cash to spend on him would be new england, but they seem to be pretty cheap
im sure it will never happen, but hey, its a fun rumor

Maybe Ronny Turiaf who plays for the Lakers and is friends with Tony Parker could put in a good word about the Northwest. Turiaf is a Zag at heart and a great person.

Thiery Henry would be huge, talk about selling tickets and putting people in the stands I can not think of anyone better. He has mass appeal; he is a great guy, very positive, hard working and one of the best finishers in the world. I thought this was just another fluke rumor until I read it on MLS in Seattle in this article, if it works out I think the front office will have to worry about selling out every game. Is it just a rumor or are they teasing us?
Throw-ins …”MLS Seattle continues to be fodder for some sensational online rumors. This week’s unsubstantiated offering: Thierry Henry is negotiating a move to Qwest Field from Barcelona. We know Henry and the Sounders’ star Frenchman Sebastien Le Toux spoke the same language, but had no idea they were so tight”
