Well since that's me in the photograph.... 
Seriously, that looks pretty legit - non-photoshopped. I am pretty convinced that rave is what it will be as the merchandise indicates. I'd love to be wrong.
Since Chicago's sponsor is Best Buy, then I'm guessing this is a retailer like Costco.

It certainly isn't a 'traditional' soccer color...by that I mean primary green, blue, yellow, red...
From what I can tell in the photo it looks like the kit has 'clean' and simple lines. With 'rave green' standing out anyway, that's a good thing.

Elegantly garish, I'd say!  I'd like to see the side panels reinforce the "sounder blue". At the very least the adidas stripes should be. At any rate, I'll wear it with pride!
One thing's for sure, when you catch a highlight out of the corner of your eye, you'll know immediately if its Sounders FC.

<edit> Upon further consideration, I withhold judgement. If there is more blue under that jacket, either in striping or piping, then I might actually like it

Hmmm............ Well at least it is a sharper green than what is used in the merchandise that has been released. Instead of Exorcist green that looks to be more lime green. There is always hope that the Away and 3rd colors are less gaudy. It kind of reminds me of the bright pinks and yellows of the late 80's that seemed to be in vogue. Wonder where all those fashion statements are now???? The shorts and socks can either add to this or make it worse. We'll see.

I'm really hoping that there are some flashes of the blue in there as stripes or something that we aren't seeing.
Also, from the size of the blurred out spot, our sponsor is using the name of the company or product rather than the logo like VW did with DCU

Don Ruiz has blogged us, and he provides a good link to current MLS kits. It's easy to see that SSFC's uni is going to stand out with or without more detailing...in fact less is more...

Both the club and photographer have contacted me about removing kit photos and links from www.GOALSeattle.com.
I said yes to taking the photo out of my blog, and no to the forums, as I didn't make the discovery or initial post.
I would imagine as soon as they can find a way to delete her blog photo (the thread is already gone), they will.
