What a great fukking point Hanauer and Sigi make on our front-loaded schedule. We have GOT TO bring it in the home games during the first half and try and earn 3 points each time out b/c it's gonna be a battle second half of the season away. As fans, there will be nothing we can do sitting at home watching. This makes our time at Qwest w/ our boys SO vital.
We have got to be fukking LOCO every time out at home and send our team off on road trips each time thinking, "gawd damm, I'm gonna give my all for these fukers on the road b/c they've proven to me that I am vital to their existence." That's my ambition....
"There are FIFA international windows that have been left open," Hanauer said, referring to the weekend of Oct. 10, when the U.S. men's national team has a World Cup qualifying game and MLS has a limited schedule. The CONCACAF Gold Cup is being played this year as well, and Sounders FC likely has a bye for at least one other open date.
The MLS All-Star Game is July 29 at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah — home of Real Salt Lake.
Fans of Seattle Sounders FC will get a chance to see every team in Major League Soccer at Qwest Field this inaugural season.
The league on Wednesday released its 30-game regular-season schedule. It has each team play the other 14 home and away. The Sounders’ two extra games are against West Coast foes San Jose and Chivas USA.
The Sounders’ season will kick off March 19 against the New York Red Bulls in a nationally televised game at Qwest Field.
Three of Seattle’s first four games will be at home, and three of its final four will be on the road, partly because it shares Qwest Field with the NFL’s Seahawks.

Do you feel it??? I can smell March 19th....
Hopefully it's the smell of the bags of piss you should be throwing at that punk Blanco! Start asking your office mates for their dead batteries now.... Just kidding. Everyone always gets mad when I talk about throwing shit at that piece of shit...
But more seriously, you could start traveling to away games too! What's closest anyway? SJ or Colorado? Or?

You sounded like a yankees fan, with that battery crack. Jay Buhner has talked about how the right field bleacher bums would throw batteries at him, every time the M's went to the bronx.

We'll be at SJ for sure, probably some of the games in LA and maybe RSL.
Got to wonder how much away travel is going to be reduced this season due to the economy. Before the crash, I would have been 100% certain for all of the west coast games, plus probably RSL and cRapids too... and at least one game on the east coast. Now it may just be SJ and (maybe) one other designated game that ECS decides to go all in for.
It'll be interesting to see the effect on other supporters groups in MLS.

Airfare to Columbus, Providence, and Baltimore can sometimes be found cheaper than the Bay Area airports (OAK, SJC, & SFO) as well as LA (LAX, SNA, LGB).
