Quote of note from Sigi:

Sounders FC coach Sigi Schmid said the roster is "about 75, 80" percent set.

So that means 75% of the final 24 are decided, or 75% of players they want to bring in are here right now...

Isn't Clark still with the club?

Do you mean Jeff Parke?

I guess we should list him even though...

There were two forwards who saw a lot of time.

Pore was released, but I hadn't heard that Jeff Clark had been released. I believe he was a small California college FA find and had 3 appearences at Forward with the club.

Not sure. I'll look through my notes. Let me know what you find out.

From Ives today:

Sounders sign defender

The Seattle Sounders continued their aggressive and impressive roster building on Wednesday with the addition of Colombia defender Jhon Kennedy Hurtado. The former Deportivo Cali defender joins former club teammate Fredy Montero on a Sounders squad that is looking less and less like an expansion team with every signing made by Sigi Schmid and Co.

The addition of Hurtado to a back-line that already includes Tyrone Marshall, Tyson Wahl, Taylor Graham and James Riley should help the Sounders field a stronger defense than we have seen from recent MLS expansion teams.

Vinicius Oliveira and Patrick Ianni isn't on the list.

and according to latest soundersfc.com video march 2nd is the when the player list gets cut down to 24 player which 4 are developmental players.

Looks like Peter Vagenas and Jarrod Smith could be gone they have 11 days to get healthy enough to prove themselves or they'll be 2 of 7 not making the final roster.

Ianni is there. Oliveria hasn't signed yet. The list includes both signed and unsigned players that are in camp + park who will most likely not gonna get signed in time before the march 2 date.

could we, theoretically, trade somebody who is officailly signed (Jarrod Smith) for allocation money, freeing up a roster spot?

Actually just cause they are signed doesn't mean they are on the final 24 roster spot. They still have to earn it.
