that appears to just be an audio feed...Am I wrong? Video available anywhere? Haven't seen enough of the Sounders and a free live feed would be sweet.

Seattle Sounders FC returned to practice Sunday morning, about 12 hours after walking out of Qwest Field with a 2-0 win over the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday night.

Coach Sigi Schmid ordered the quick turnaround so his team could begin preparations for its U.S. Open Cup play-in game against Real Salt Lake on Tuesday night at Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila.

Star midfielder Freddie Ljungberg was absent, having left for Sweden after the death of his grandmother. Ljungberg is expected to return Thursday and to travel with the team Friday when it leaves for its next MLS match Saturday at Chicago.

For what it's worth, I've never found video of play-in USOC matches. (I don't think I've even seen early rounds of the actual Cup matches, but I may be wrong on that.)

USOC isn't run by MLS and they don't have the commitment to bringing the games to the masses the way MLS does. It would be nice to see this change at some point in the future.

That is unfortunate. That just means all one of you 5000 attendees must return with many, many pictures.

I wonder how seriously RSL is taking the USOC. We have all listened to Adrian talk repeatedly about how important the USOC is to him.
any chance we wont see the likes of dreadman and movsysian?

that would be sweet.

I think we'll see a similar approach from both sides: Mostly reserves starting the match, supplemented by starters as needed and available.

I have high expectations for our reserve side, as we've got the talent to perform. However, recent results in reserve matches have not confirmed the realization of that potential.....which really concerns me.

Yeah, I'm nervous about the way our reserves have been playing. I'd hate to see a one-and-done situation here, especially the way RSL has been playing lately. I think we pissed them off. :D

I would expect, however, that RSL will also field mostly reserves and we'll have to hope that ours can beat theirs. I'm cautiously optimistic, but not nearly as confident as I am with our regular MLS matchups.

Line-up I want to see:
LeToux---Smith---Levesque--
King---Vagenas---Nyassi
Scott---Graham---Ianni---Wahl
----------Eylander------------------

Seeing Sebastian and Roger up top would bring back fond memories of US Open Cups from the past. Same with Eylander. He dominated in US Open Cup play in past years.

I don't think you'll see Sigi use a 4-3-3 with the reserves; my guess is a more traditional 4-4-2, as seen below:

------------Smith-----Levesque-----------

Le Toux----King------Vagenas----Nyassi

Scott-----Graham-----Ianni---------Wahl

---------------Eylander---------------------

Although, I'd also not be surprised to see Seba up top and Smith start on the bench. If that happens, does Evan Brown get the start at Left Mid?

i cant really complain about how our reserves look on paper based on advocates line-up. depending on nyassi being able to get some better services in or not would be my only critique. maybe k-fo on the right?!

Since there has to be a winner, is this game by USSF Open Cup Rules? Will there be 30 min overtime if tied at 90 and are there KFTM shots at goal after that? No Golden Goal (I hope).

Yes, overtime periods then penalties as necessary. No Golden Goal.

I'm sure your "KFTM" reference has some witty meaning so I'm going to ask: What does it mean?
