Here is the official release from MLS.
Quote:| Besides Columbus Crew Stadium in Columbus (7 July), RFK Stadium in Washington (8 July) and the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona (12 July), other first-round venues include: Qwest Field in Seattle (4 July), Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum in Oakland, California (5 July), Reliant Stadium in Houston (9 July), FIU Stadium in Miami (10 July), and Gillette Stadium in the Boston suburb of Foxborough, Massachusetts (11 July). |

So is the Gold Cup 2009 part of the SSFC STH Package?

Since I posted above, I find out we are also hosting our first USOC game. My sig just got longer. The only way this summer could get better is if the USMNT plays a 2010 WC qualifier here.
Quick, who has Sunil's telephone number?

Anyone think real grass will go in for this game? We are home shortly after (the 11th, I think) and I'd love to see our boys on the real thing just once this season (at home).

The CONCACAF site states that all first round matches (which includes ours) will be on plastic.

Touche. How bout the Chelsea game? We play at home a week b/f and a week after. (that's my last resort for the real grass plea, barring a WCQ)

CONCACAF will announce the Gold Cup groups and complete schedule Thursday at noon ET. First-round doubleheaders will be played at Carson, Seattle, Oakland, Columbus, RFK Stadium, Houston, Miami, Foxborough and Phoenix.
Team USA in Seattle, Columbus or Washington, and then maybe Foxboro.
